But curcumin has a limited bioavailability of 0.9% due to its poor absorption as well as metabolic reduction in liver. Nanophosphosome technology has been found effective to increase the bioavailability and absorption of curcumin to the tune of 29-50 times. Auricur is an advanced generation Curcumin Nanophosphosome, a nano-emulsified Curcumin Phosphatidyl Choline-Ethanolamine-Inositol-Serine complex enriched with Bioenhancer and Metabolic Potentiator technology. Potentiated phospholipid complex acts as carrier mediated transport system, which directs the Curcumin to reach the systemic circulation. Bioenhancer and Metabolic potentiator technology enhances the permeability of intestinal microvilli and improves Curcumin absorption as well prevents its metabolic reduction through inhibition of P-gp, CYP3AG and UGT.
