Select a product to estimate shipping.Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a type of fungus that grows on birch trees in cold regions such as Siberia, northern Canada, Alaska, and some northern parts of the continental United States. It is of particular importance because it has been found to have a wide range of medicinal properties. Chaga are more closely related to woody bracket fungi. On average, Chaga are 8 to 12 inches in diameter, with a rough, bark-like surface. Chaga takes 3 to 5 years to grow on the birch trees. Each Chaga takes on a unique shape, some of them being almost humanoid in form. Chaga serves as a vital chemical factory for substances of great value to our health. It all started when the indigenous Siberians would grind the Chaga and put it in stews, soups, and daily beverages. The Siberians found that, despite their harsh climate, the regular consumption of Chaga prevented the onset of degenerative disease. They used it to boost physical stamina and attain long life. If you want to grind your Chaga mushroom by yourself or you want to try your own recipes of miraculous infusions, our company provides you the opportunity to order Chaga in chunks. Our company supplies only the high quality product. You can verify this by inspecting the pieces of the mushroom. They have the appropriate color and consistency. While you are making tea from pieces of fungus, do not forget that the chunks contain water-insoluble particles. Therefore, we recommend passing the infusion through a strainer to take the drink without discomfort.
